The Narayani river is one of the most beautiful rivers in nepal, she flows through the eastern and southern border of Gaindakot.
The river swells up in the rainy season which sometime drowns the vast area including the human cultivations and settlements. In the winter season, the river becomes suitable for swiming and rafting because of reduced water level and crocodiles going on hiburnation.
